Activity

Centrally located at the peaceful end of a no-through road, but still with immediate walking and bike access, it is just a few pedal strokes to Victoria’s bike-route network. The Nordic is an easy ride or stroll to downtown, the ocean, UVic and beyond. Come home to park and charge your bike, trike, unicycle or cargo bike in The Nordic’s secure backyard shed.

All units include a Modo car share membership with driving credits. The building Ecopass transit fund allows residents up to seven years of free BC Transit use.

Beauty

The Nordic embodies simple, clean and functional architecture blended with West Coast design elements and materials. An ultra-efficient design with windows on three sides of all units produces quiet, light-filled living.

Community

The greatest predictor of happiness is human connection. The Nordic provides plenty of shared spaces and outdoor hang-out areas to connect with family, friends, and neighbours.

Our secure on-site bike storage is built to accommodate cargo bikes with e-bike plugins at every station. The full CRD bike network is just a block away in any direction for your commuting and recreation needs.

Nordic living also means relaxation and good health. End your day with time in the backyard sauna for a true taste of the Scandinavian lifestyle.

Sustainability

We take our responsibility to create enduring architecture seriously. We partnered with Fold Architects, specialists in Passive House Certified Projects, to help realize our vision of building happy, healthy homes for now and the future.

The Nordic is comfort-engineered and crafted to a BC building code Step 4 standard that outperforms typical new builds. The tighter building envelope significantly reduces heat loss to keep your home warm in winter, cool in summer, and power consumption lower.

Each unit is equipped with a heat pump HVAC heating and cooling system and an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) system for clean, healthy air through each home. All appliances have been chosen for quality and energy efficiency, including heat pump dryers, LED lighting and induction cook tops.

Unit 1

Unit 1 is 595 sq ft with an open plan living room and kitchen, separated bathroom and bedroom, and a balcony.

Unit 2

3 Bed, 2.5 Bath

Unit 2 is 1,119 sq ft spread over two levels. It features three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the building’s second level, with an open plan living room, kitchen, and dining room on the building’s third level.

Each level has an outside balcony or deck space.

Unit 3

1 Bed, 1 Bath

Unit 3 is 571 sq ft with an open plan living room and kitchen, separate bedroom, den, and bathroom on one level. The living room looks out to the patio.

Unit 4

1 Bed, 1 Bath

Unit 4 is 550 sq ft with an open plan living room and kitchen, separate bedroom, and dual access bathroom on one level.

Unit 5

3 Bed, 2.5 Bath

Unit 5 is 1,055 sq ft spread over two levels. It features three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the building’s second level, with an open plan kitchen, dining room and living room on the building’s third level.

Each level has an outside balcony or deck space.

Unit 6

1 Bed, 1 Bath

Unit 5 is 607 sq ft featuring an open plan living room and kitchen, separate bedroom, separate den, and bathroom. The living room looks out to the patio.
